Use DoorstepKit
with clear expectations.
DoorstepKit provides optional digital preparation and record-keeping tools. You supply and review all information. It does not provide tenant screening, legal representation, insurance, a moving service, or a guarantee of rental approval, delivery, building approval, or deposit recovery.
Your information and originals
Only attach material you have the right to use. Review exports before sharing; originals may contain sensitive or location information. Entries and files stay in memory in your tab and disappear on refresh or close. Product-link import requests a supported public retailer URL on the server.
Purchases
Paid downloads are not open yet. Everything is free during the private beta.
A purchase is a one-time payment for digital access to download the packet for the product you choose, or all four with the bundle. Prices are in US dollars and are shown before you pay. Payment is processed by Stripe on its own page. We never see your card details.
Access lasts 90 days from payment. Your recovery link restores access on any device during that time. Anyone who has the link can use it, so keep it private. The tools themselves are not licensed to be copied or resold. Do not use them to fabricate evidence, impersonate others, or probe third-party sites.
Refunds and cancellations are described in the refund policy. Your statutory consumer rights are not limited by these terms.
Location and source limits
State resources are starting points. City, lease, building, housing type, and current law may change what applies. Check current official instructions. Source-derived dimensions and camera dates are candidates that require review.
Limits of responsibility
Reports organize what you entered. They are not verified, and no result is a promise about what a landlord, building, mover, or court will decide. Keep backups of records you need.
